In my few years as the newsroom archivist of The Spokesman-Review, I have come across some interesting photos and items in our physical archive. The intent of this blog is to try to bring some of them back into the light and tell their story. Not all of the stories will be about items from the archives, however.
The first few entries here are actually rewritten podcast episodes that I wrote while in grad school. The podcast, 1000 Words, can still be found on Spotify. The basis of the podcast was to tell the story of photos using exactly 1000 words. The reworked blog entries do not stay true to that word count, however.
